A charity drive is aiming to launch a Palestinian lullaby to the top of the UK charts. The campaign seeks to provide aid to people in Gaza while also highlighting Palestinian artistic heritage.

An Opportunity for Unity and an "Chart Upset"

Renowned figure Brian Eno, who features on the track, stated that the single 'Lullaby' represents a moment to support Palestinians over the Christmas period. He acknowledged the potential for an surprise number one.

“It would be incredible if that occurred, yes,” he said. “I’m not gonna be completely disappointed if it doesn't manage to, Christmas singles are a thing unto themselves.”

Defiant Message of Freedom and Dignity

Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, who performs on the version of a traditional lullaby called Yamma Mwel El Hawa, explained the track's resilient spirit.

“There is no a rigid aim,” a representative said. “We’ll go for whatever we can get. Obviously, the higher the total, the greater the impact. Every penny goes out to the people of Gaza.”
