The City of Angels witnessed citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Local celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
