Aerial Photographs Show Iranian Naval Forces and Atomic Facilities Targeted by Joint US and Israeli Strikes.

Multiple American and Israeli airstrikes has allegedly eliminated or harmed a minimum of eleven warships belonging to Iran since Saturday, freshly analyzed aerial photos show, with rocket sites and nuclear sites also being targeted.

Pictures of the southern Konarak military port and the Bandar Abbas port facility, which sits on the Strait of Hormuz and houses the headquarters of the Iranian navy, show plumes of smoke rising from multiple ships on the start of the week.

Naval Assets Sustained Substantial Damage

Included in the targets eliminated was the IRINS Makran, Iran's most sizable ship which had been used as a unmanned aerial vehicle platform. Aerial imagery indicated black smoke emanating from the vessel which had been docked at the Bandar Abbas base.

Intelligence reports suggest that at least five vessels at Bandar Abbas were "damaged or eliminated". Photos of the southern part of the port depict smoke rising from the IRINS Makran, while additional vessels are visibly harmed, with one seen burning.

Over at Konarak, images reveal several harmed vessels, with expert review pointing to impacts on six ships. Images taken on the start of the week also show that several buildings at the installation have been leveled.

"For a long time the Iran's leadership has disrupted global maritime traffic," an American commander declared. "At present, there is no Iranian vessel operational in the Persian Gulf, Hormuz Strait or Gulf of Oman, and we will persist."

A number of ships reportedly destroyed may have been hidden in aerial photos by cloud or smoke, or targeted offshore, and have not been independently verified. Additional information indicated that a ship from Iran was foundering off the coast of Sri Lanka's waters, resulting in a search and rescue mission.

Rocket Sites and Atomic Locations Attacked

The destruction of Iran's rocket sites and the stopping atomic bomb programs were stated as other goals of the offensive. Satellite images also depicted impacts against the southerly Khorgu base and northwestern Tabriz missile bases, and at the Konarak air air base, where missile storage facilities and fortifications were targeted.

Over at the Choqa Balk-e drone UAV facility to the west of the city of Kermanshah, extensive destruction was identified to storage buildings, underground facilities and UAV launching apparatus.

Damage was also observed at a surveillance station at the Zahedan airbase in eastern parts of the country, near the frontier with neighboring nations.

Of particular note, the latest wave of strikes have apparently focused on sites at the Natanz complex – long said to be at the core of the country's nuclear programme. An international watchdog stated that the damaged buildings were used for access to the site's below-ground nuclear plant and that "no nuclear fallout" was expected.

Wider Impact and Assessment

Defense experts stated that the strikes appeared to have "largely neutralized" the Iran's naval capacity to conduct standard operations using its biggest warships. Nevertheless, it was noted that Iran retains the capacity to launch irregular strikes at sea through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, midget subs and its so-called "shadow fleet" of oil ships.

The overall extent of the damage caused to Iranian military infrastructure has yet to be fully assessed, with strikes said to be persisting. Pictures also reveals considerable damage to the headquarters of the Iran's Revolutionary Guards in the city of Tehran.

Numerous of public facilities also seem to have been hit in the capital city and throughout the country after the fighting escalated. Toll estimates from ground sources suggest that many hundreds of non-combatants may have been fatally injured in the strikes.

With the conflict ongoing, analysis of space-based data will persist to assess the unfolding scope of damage.
